About NEW VARDHAMAN EDUCATIONAL TRUST SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME.

1. This scholarship scheme is applicable only to Students of the Jain Community studying in Maharashtra (As per Annexure attached) from 1st std. up to the college degree course.

2. The payment of scholarship will be made directly to the institution and if required by the institution, payment of scholarship can be divided in quarterly installments.

3. The payment of scholarship will cover only school/college fees but does not include any donation, admission fees, security deposit, development fees, Bus/Transportation Charges, private coaching fees, books and stationery charges etc.

Eligibility Criteria:

a. The eligibility will be from the beginning of the academic year, if eligibility falls thereafter or in the middle of the academic session then the same will be applicable for the second half year period of the academic year.

b. The scholarship is applicable only for the children of those who are earning less than Rs.20, 000/- per month.

Limit on Fees

i. For School fees the limit is 75% of the fees or Rs. 15,000/- whichever is lower.

ii. For college fees the limit is 50% of the fees or Rs. 35,000/- whichever is lower.

* In exceptional cases, the foundation has right to review the amount of scholarship and eligibility criteria.

* Approval by the foundation does not mean that they will continue to provide the scholarship. The scholarship can be withdrawn at any time at the sole discretion of the foundation. The scholarship will also be subject to the academic performance of the student

* Student should be studying in Local School/College where they are Residing.

* Kindly attach Xerox copy of latest Electricity Bill/ Ration Card.

* In Case of Service of the parent, Salary Certificate and In case of Business I.T. Returns is a must.

* The foundation has absolute right to amend / withdraw the above-mentioned rules at any time at its sole discretion.
