IPER Joint Entrance Examination – 2008 (NIPER JEE ? 2008)

For Admission to M.S. (Pharm); M. Pharm; M. Tech (Pharm); MBA (Pharm) for OBCs

With the implementation of reservation in admission under the Central Educational institutions (Reservations in Admissions) Act, 2006 (No. 5 of 2008) in respect of persons belonging to socially and educationally backward classes (OBCs), NIPER invites applications from the eligible OBC candidates who does not belong to the ?creamy layer? as provided in OM No. 36012/ 22/ 93-(SCT), dated 8th September, 1993 (amended vide OM No.36033/ 3/ 2004 ?Estt (Res) dated 9th March, 2004 (copy of the order can be see on our website www.niper.gov.in/niperjee2008.html) of the department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension, and who have not applied earlier for admission to M.S. (Pharm); M. Pharm, M. Tech (Pharm) MBA (Pharm) programme from the Academic Session 2008-09. The OBC candidates applying under the category must produce a certificate issued by the appropriate authority to the effect at the time of counseling/ GD and Interview.

Interested OBCs candidates who have not applied earlier may submit duly filled in application form by 21st May, 2008 to Chairperson, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Sector ? 67, S.A.S Nagar (Mohali) ? 160 062 along with a demand draft for Rs.1000/- drawn in favour of ?NIPER-JEE 2008? payable at Mohali/ Chandigarh.
