ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Electrocardiography (ECG) is a fundamental part of cardiovascular assessment and it is an essential tool for investigating cardiac arrhythmias and is also useful in diagnosing any cardiac disorders. Atrial disease is a growing epidemic encountered in clinical practice and accounts for 1/3 of hospital admissions for cardiac rhythm disturbances. The prevalence and incidence of atrial disease is increasing and it is considered an independent contributor to mortality and morbidity which affects the quality of life. This workshop aims in imparting and disseminating a new technology and process in ECG recording to address the health issues pertaining to the cardiovascular & atrial related diseases through a dedicated atrial diagnostic ECG system (DADiE) to provide quantitative atrial electrophysiological phenotype to researchers and clinicians at point of.

RESOURCE PERSONS

Faculty members from NIT, Rourkela with rich experience in teaching, research and laboratory development will be handling the sessions

REGISTRATION

There is NO REGISTRATION FEE for this program. Outstation participants will have to make their own arrangements for travel. Accommodation may be provided on payment basis. ELIGIBILITY

Faculty members from Medical Institutes, Science and Engineering colleges, ECG technicians, PG students and Research scholars working in the area encompassing ECG are eligible to attend the workshop.
