Scholarship opportunity under PEC-PG (Student Exchange Program for Graduate Students) 2026 offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Brazil

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Brazil, has announced the PECPG (Student Exchange Program for Graduate Students) for entry in 2026. Under this program, scholarships are offered to foreign students for in-person graduate programs at Brazilian Higher Education lnstitutions (HEls), including full master’s, full doctorate, and sandwich doctorate programs.

Applications are presently open for sandwich doctoral programs, as per the following schedule:

* Publication of available positions: September 30,2025

* Application registration: October 1 to December 30,2025 (till 5’00 p.m.Brasilia time / 1:30 p.m. IST)

* Publication of final results: April 30, 2026

* Gommencement of studies in Brazil: August 2026

lnterested candidates may submit their applications through the CAPES electronic system available at: https://inscricao.capes.gov.br/  Any queries regarding the programme may be sent to inscricao.pecpg@capes.gov. br

The Ministry of Education, Government of lndia has no role innomination/selection of candidates. The Public notice is being published for wider dissemination of information purpose only. The final selection of the candidates will be done by the donor country.
