The residential requirement for working professionals who apply under External mode can be waived off. The coursework can be taken up in online mode (online courses being offered/recommended by the department on a case to case basis for a certain number of credits) and the required credits can be completed in accordance with the Doctoral committee recommendations and Senate rulings.
