Many engineering graduates face challenges due to limited industry exposure, skills gaps, and financial barriers. A more inclusive and industry-aligned education system can prepare students for better successful careers.

The Siemens Scholarship has grown proudly nurturing over 2300 students from 28 states. We support economically disadvantaged engineering students through four-year scholarships and holistic development based on the German dual education system to make them industry ready.

Who is this program for?

The Siemens Scholarship Program is for meritorious first-year engineering students studying at Government Colleges who are committed to academic excellence and building a successful career.

Who can apply?

Eligibility requirements include:

* First-year students of Government Engineering college (excluding IIT) from the following streams: Mechanical/Production, Electrical, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Science/Information Technology and Instrumentation
* Age: Up to 20 years
* SSC: Minimum 60% aggregate
* HSC or equivalent result: Minimum 50% aggregate and minimum 60% PCM aggregate
* Annual family income: Not more than Rs. 2 lakhs
* Eligibility is limited to one student per family

Are there scholarships reserved for girls?

Yes. 50% of the scholarships are reserved for girls.

Do I have to fulfill all conditions to apply?

Yes. Application forms will not be accepted if any of the above eligibility conditions are not met.

When should I apply?

The online application tool will be open for a certain period after all admissions for the first year in Government Engineering Colleges is complete.

Who are the Siemens scholars and where are they placed?

Graduates of the program have secured placements in leading companies across various sectors, including engineering, banking, IT services, infrastructure, automotive and consumer goods, as well as Siemens.
