A joint initiative by Siemens India., Smile Foundation and Growth Centre (I) Pvt. Ltd.

Siemens Scholarship Program aims to encourage and promote engineering education amongst meritorious students from less privileged families, who share the vision and values to become future engineers. Siemens understands a large number of deserving students who have an urge to become engineers are unable to do so owing to financial constraints. In view of this, Siemens offers a limited number of scholarships to deserving candidates to pursue their education and launch a sustainable career in engineering, R&D or manufacturing.

The project is implemented by Smile Foundation, while Growth Centre [I] Pvt. Ltd. is responsible for the holistic development of students in the Program.

Smile Foundation is a national-level development organisation working in the areas of education, healthcare, livelihood and women empowerment. For more details, visit: Growth Centre [I] Pvt. Ltd. is a Counselling firm offering Total Counselling Solutions such as Personal Counselling, Vocational Guidance (Aptitude Testing), Career Counselling, Career Seminar & Exhibition, Workshops on Soft Skills Training all under one roof. What are the benefits of this Program?

Annual Scholarship comprising of:

-Tuition Fees

- Allowances for books, stationeries and other miscellaneous expenses

Holistic development through training, internship and mentoring at Siemens Exposure and understanding of the Industry

Who can apply?

1st year students of Government Engineering Colleges from India pursuing Engineering in:

- Mechanical / Production

- Electrical

- Electronics / Instrumentation

- Electronics & Telecommunication

- Computers/Information Technology

Age: Up to 20 years

Annual Family Income: Not more than 2 lakhs

SSC: Minimum 60% aggregate

HSC or equivalent result: Minimum 50% aggregate and Minimum 60% PCM aggregate


Q. Is there scholarship reserved for girls?

A. 50 % scholarship is reserved for girls.

Q. Who can apply?

A. Only Government Engineering College students from the below mentioned streams can apply for this scholarship.

- Mechanical / Production

- Electrical

- Electronics / Instrumentation

- Electronics & Telecommunication

- Computers/Information Technology

Q. Do I have to fulfill all conditions to apply for the scholarship?

A. Yes. Application forms will not be accepted if any of the above eligibility conditions are not met.

Q. When to apply?

The online application tool will be open for a certain period after all admissions for the first year in Government Engineering Colleges is complete.

Government Engineering Colleges will be informed.
