We are happy that the St.Peter’s Engineering College established in the year 1993 has been declared as a Deemed-to-be-University by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (Education), Government of India, New Delhi, Under Section 3 of the UGC, Act 1956 from 2008-09 onwards in the name and style of St.Peter’s University.

 

 

SPHIER Comprising St.Peter’s Engineering College and sponsored by St.Peter’s Institute of Higher Education and Research – Trust will continuously strive to focus on imparting quality education, introducing innovative programmes leading to Research and Development for sustainable growth.

 

 

Dr. Francis C Peter possess an unique blend of Academic, Administrative, Technical, Managerial Skills and Competence which he had gained and acquired through his extensive experience of about three decades in the Industry, Finance and in the Higher Education Sector. Dr. Francis C. Peter served as the founder Vice Chancellor of Dr. K.N. Modi University, Rajasthan for four years. He had also served as the Vice Chancellor of Bhagwant University in Ajmer.

 

 

He has an illustrious career to his credit serving at senior level as Chairman of the Board of the Studies (Engineering) of Kannur Government University, Kerala, Principal of Lal Bahadur Sastri College of Engineering( L.B.S.C.E), Kasargode, (A Kerala Govt. Undertaking), Principal of Viswajyothi College of Engineering and Technology( VJCET), Kerala, Principal of Hindustan College of Engineering , Chennai, Controller of Examination in Hindustan University and as Dean in Lovely Professional University, Jalundhar, Punjab.

 

 

Eligibility:

 

 

A pass in +2 (or) its equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects recognized by any state/central board or any other accepted by SPIHER as equivalent to 10 + 2 its equivalent examination.

 

 

Student with diploma in Engineering / Technology are eligible for direct admission to the second year of the relevant B.E/B.Tech program as lateral entry category.

 

 

PG Programmes:

 

 

Admission to PG Engineering Courses will be made based on the score in the qualifying UG degree program and the marks obtained by the applicant in the entrance examination conducted by SPIHER in the month of April 2018. Advertisement regarding admission and entrance examination will be given in leading national dailies and uploaded in the institute’s website. SPIHER Rank list is prepared based on the combined score of all the candidates and admission will be based on the rank secured.

 

 

Candidates with good GATE score will be given preference in admission.
