About Umeå University Scholarships for International Students

Umeå University offers scholarships each year, in conjunction with the Autumn semester admission, to academically talented and high-achieving students. Scholarships offered are in the form of tuition-waivers. Selected candidates receive a full or partial waiver of the tuition fee.

Application timeline for scholarships

The scholarship application period for 2021/22 will open on 18 January 2021. Students who are considered eligible to apply for our scholarships will receive an email with an invitation to apply online.

The application deadline is 1 March 23:59. Scholarship results will be announced via email to all applicants 9-16 April.
