Lotus Petal Foundation is inviting applications for the Winnie Sun Scholarship 2026-27 — a merit-cum-need-based scholarship supporting underprivileged girl students pursuing MBBS in India.

Scholarship Details

Scholarship Name: Winnie Sun Scholarship 2026-27

Provider: Lotus Petal Foundation

Support Amount: Up to ₹65,000/year (up to ₹3.25 Lakhs over 5 years) — covering fees, hostel, and essentials

Eligibility: Girl students admitted to MBBS for 2026-27 at any Govt./Pvt. medical college recognized by a central or state board, with 70%+ in 10th & 12th (60%+ for SC/ST/OBC), and combined family income under ₹5 Lakh/year

Number of Awards: 50 students selected nationwide this cycle

Eligibility Description

* Students must be citizen of India.

* Students must be a Girl child.

* Students must have secured their admission in MBBS during FY 2026-27.

* Students who have taken admission in FY 26-27 are only eligible to apply for the scholarship.

* Academic– Students must have completed their grade 10th and 12th exam with minimum 70% marks or appeared in grade 12th from recognized state or central board (at the time of final selection the candidate will have to submit their grade 12th marksheet with minimum 70% marks). Min 60% marks in both Grade 10th and 12th for reserved category students (SC/ST/OBC).

* Financial – Combined family income must be less than 5 Lakh per annum.
