ABOUT WORKSHOP

Machine learning and Deep learning is a fast growing research area which deals with analysis and design of automated computer based algorithms for yielding efficient representations of data at various evels. Deep learning is attaining incomparable levels of accuracy—to the extent that the deep learning algorithms are able to overtake humans at classifying images or videos. This workshop will facilitate deep learning and computer vision researchers, faculties and industry executives to share their expertise and knowledge with participants. In addition, this workshop provides a road map to choose their research problem for beginners

ABOUT VIT

ABOUT SCOPE

History of computing discipline at VIT dates back to 1993, when the Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established to meet the demand for well-qualified computer professionals. Subsequently, the Departments of computer Applications and Information Technology were established. The School of Computing Science and Engineering was conceived in the year 2004-05 and came into existence by consolidating the achievements and core strengths of the aforesaid departments. Later, it was bifurcated into two schools, SCSE and SITE in the year 2009. The School offers research programmes such as M.S. (by research), Ph.D. and B.Tech (CSE) Engineering, MSc, and B.Sc. programmes which have been accredited by Institution of Engineering & Technology, UK (IET) during the year 2004-05. The B.Tech (CSE) and other courses are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET www.abet.org). The school has some of the best infrastructure including domain-specific laboratories associated with the technical divisions. Many of these labs are sponsored by industry leaders like IBM, Intel, Cisco, Sun Microsystems, and Microsoft. The School has a good record of organizing seminars, workshops, symposia and conferences in emerging technological areas.
