North-Eastern Hill University, is a Central University established on 19 July 1973 by an Act of the Indian Parliament. The university is in the suburb of Shillong, the state capital of Meghalaya, India. The university has two campuses: Shillong and Tura in Meghalaya.

Professional Courses

Application in the prescribed form are invited for admission to the following courses of study
(B.A.LL.B.(Hons)/ B.Arch./ B.Tech./ M.Tech./M.B.A.(Agri-Business & Food Technology) / Master of Tourism & Travel Management(MTTM)/ M.Sc. in Horticulture and Ph.D.) in the North Eastern Hill University commencing from August, 2020.

Eligibility

A bachelor degree in 10 + 2 + 3/4 mode in any discipline with minimum 50% (45% in case of SC/ST) aggregate marks from a recognized Indian or Foreign University / Institution. Those appearing in the final year examination can also apply.

Selection

Candidates desirous to seek admission should appear in any one of the MAT to be conducted by AlMA in May, September, December 2019 & February 2020. The shortlisted candidates on the basis of MAT score have to appear in group discussion and personal interview conducted by the Department.

HOW TO APPLY:

Students applying courses/programmes in Shillong as well in Tura Campus are requested to apply online on payment of Rs.800/- and Rs.400/- (for SC/ST category) and for Ph.D. Programme Rs.500/- and Rs.250/- (for SC/ST category) and the payment will be online using Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking through SBI and HDFC Bank. The admission fee is not refundable.

Application Fee

Application fee of Rs. 800/-only (Rs. 400/- for SC/ST category) should be paid online using Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking through SBI and HDFC Bank. The admission fee is not refundable.
After submission of the online application, the print copy of the filled-in online application form along with necessary documents (MAT document, Caste Certificate, Mark sheets etc.) are to be submitted to the Head, Departments of Management, NEHU, Tura Campus, Tura -794 002, Meghalaya.
