About AIMTDR

The 8^th International and 29^th All India Manufacturing Technology, Design and Research Conference is jointly organized by PSG College of Technology and PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, Coimbatore, India during December 10-12, 2020. The AIMTDR conference, held once in two years, was started in 1967 and became an international event in 2006. Since then this conference has emerged as a prestigious event where eminent personalities from various parts of the world connect together, to share their achievements and innovations, taking it to greater heights in the manufacturing arena. It has been organized by various prestigious institutions such as IITs, CMTI, CMERI, PSG Tech, BITS Ranchi, VIT and Andhra University. The last edition of the conference was organized by Anna University, Chennai during December 13 -15, 2018.

About PSG Tech

PSG College of Technology (PSG Tech), established in the year 1951 by PSG & Sons Charities Trust, is an ISO 9001 – 2015 certified autonomous institution affiliated to Anna University. PSG Tech is equipped with several state-of-the-art Centers of Excellence that include TIFAC-Core in Product Design, Machine Tool Research Centre, Engineering Design Centre, Virtual Reality Centre, Tool and Die Centre, Centre for Nano-technology, Centre for Robotics and Centre of Excellence for Welding Engineering and Technology. Under the banner of PSG Industrial Institute, there are on-campus manufacturing units of machine tools, pumps, motors and off-campus foundry units. About PSG iTech

PSG iTech, the latest initiative of PSG and Sons’ Charities, aims to realize its objective of enhancing youth empowerment through technical education. PSG iTech, started in the year 2014, is an AICTE approved institution and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The institution caters to various engineering disciplines, focusing on learning, industry engagement of students, innovative and inclusive pedagogy, and ethics. Within a short span of time, the Institution has emerged to be one of the most preferred institutions for the engineering aspirants in Tamilnadu. This institution is equipped with various Centres of Excellence such as Innovation Centre, NI Graphical System Design Centre, Keysight RF Circuit & System Design Laboratory, Festo Laboratory, Nexmoo Mobile & IoT Centre of Excellence, CISCO Network Academy and eYantra.

Important dates

Call for Papers

Participants from Academia, R&D organizations and Industries are invited to submit original and unpublished full research papers (as per Springer format) on the following topics, but not limited to:

At least one author of the accepted paper has to register for the AIMTDR 2020 conference and present the paper. A number of papers will be limited to a maximum of 2 per registration. The literature review of the paper must be clearly written by citing the related papers recently published in the reputed journals.

Authors have to indicate all the papers published (if any) by them on the topic and should neatly bring out the unpublished content in the paper to be submitted to AIMTDR 2020 conference.

Selected papers from the conference will be published by Springer as a proceedings book volume. Springer will conduct quality checks on the accepted papers and only papers pass these checks will be published. The published technical paper will be automatically indexed in Scopus / SCI / CompIndex / Inspec / Web of science, etc.

The Industry participants are also invited to submit short case studies (refer Paper Format Template) on their R&D activities that will be of immense benefit to the researchers and manufacturers. Separate sessions will be conducted exclusively for Industrial participants.

Registration fee

Registration fee covers admission to all technical presentations, conference lunch, refreshments, conference dinner and registration kit inclusive of taxes. The registration fee for Pre-conference workshop is INR 1000 inclusive of taxes per participant for one workshop. The fee should be paid by Demand Draft drawn in favor of “PSG CNCE”, payable at Coimbatore.
Note: Free accommodation will be provided to all Non-Indian student participants.
