About ADOBE DESIGN ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

THIS IS HOW CREATIVE CAREER DREAMS COME TRUE

The Adobe Awards are the world’s premier digital media competition for students and emerging creators. Get exposure to creative leaders and influencers, connect with other young artists and designers, and learn what it takes to land today’s most coveted creative jobs.

ELIGIBILITY

The Adobe Awards are open to all aspiring young creators who are over the age of 18. Adobe tools must have contributed to the creation of your entry.

Career art and design professionals are NOT eligible. If you have professional experience and training in any creative field that puts you at a distinct advantage over students and emerging creators, your entry will be disqualified.

For the full list of eligibility criteria, refer to the official rules.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Find answers here.

HOW MANY TIMES CAN I SUBMIT?

You can submit three unique entries in each competition category. Each entry you submit must be unique, across categories. Duplicate entries will be discarded.

WHAT IS THE EARLY BIRD SUBMISSION DEADLINE?
The first members of the Top Talent are chosen after the early bird submission deadline. If you’re not selected at that time, get back to work and submit again before the final deadline for a second shot (yep – that’s allowed!)! You’re even allowed to incorporate any feedback the judges may have given you. The earlier you get your work in, the more attention it gets.

ARE RECENT GRADUATES OR GRADUATING STUDENTS ALLOWED TO ENTER?
YES! The Adobe Awards are now open to all aspiring young creators who are over the age of 18.

WHAT IS THE ADOBE AWARDS SLACK WORKSPACE FOR?
Slack is where we share all notifications about the competition directly with entrants. It’s also where you can chat with your fellow entrants, and where Adobe may contact you directly (if needed). For those who make the Top Talent, Slack is where we’ll regularly deliver ongoing opportunities tailored to launch your careers (via a private channel just for the Top Talent community).

Slack is there to help YOU launch your career – so ask your questions, connect with other students, and take advantage of all the competition has to offer.

WHEN AND HOW DO THE JUDGES SEE MY WORK?
The Adobe Awards judges are activated around the world and immediately begin to view all entries submitted after each deadline (the early bird deadline and the final deadline) via a special judging site built just for the competition. All entries will be scored by three individual judges through the process.

Any updates you make to your projects on Behance after the deadline (whether you submitted as an early bird, or in the main competition session) will not be seen by the judges.

I’M NOT SURE WHETHER MY ENTRY IS FINE ART, COMMERCIAL, OR SOCIAL IMPACT?
In the submission process, we ask you to tell us more about the purpose of your work. This helps us ensure we have the right professionals assigned to evaluate it.

Your entry might be fine art if you created it for expression or aesthetics – or just simply because you had a beautiful idea (what we call “art for art’s sake”).

Your entry might be a commercial work if you created it for a client (whether that client was real or fictional). Commercial projects are often, but not necessarily, for the purpose of promoting a product, service, person, place, or event.

Your entry might be social impact if it’s intended to raise awareness of or innovate for a social or environmental cause. If your trying to change the world with your entry, it’s social impact.

I UPDATED MY PROJECT ON BEHANCE BUT MY CHANGES DON’T APPEAR IN THE LIVE GALLERY?
New submissions and changes to already-submitted Behance projects can take up to 24 hours until they are visible in the Live Gallery.
