Activity Format

Activity – Students write the essay and send it

Essay Writing Contest is divided into two groups – Junior Group and Senior Group

Junior Group – Class 6 to 9 school students

Senior Group – Class 10 to 12 school students

Topic of Essay

Junior Group – “How will I introduce South Korea to my friends” in 150 to 300 words in English only.

Senior Group – “How South Korea inspires me” in 300 to 500 words in English only.

Terms and Conditions

* Essay must be Handwritten or typed in English

* Decision of judges will be final & no review request will be entertained

* Contest is open ONLY to Indian Students residing in India

* School students from only class 6 to 12 are eligible to participate

* Participant must be a school student on the day of prize distribution of essay contest

* Korea means Republic of Korea also popularly known as South Korea

* Entries are property of organizers and are non-returnable

* No Participation Fee or any other Fee at any stage

* Individual participation is acceptable

* Organizers reserve the right to add, delete, modify the format , dates, schedules etc. as and when required

* Prizes are NOT encashable and NOT transferable

* Travel to Korea will be subject to Government procedures

* Free Trip to Korea for winners will be of maximum 6 Days/5 Nights

* Winners of Essay Contest of previous years (2013 – 2019) who have traveled to Korea, are not eligible for Free Trip to Korea even if they win

* Travel will be paid to winners for participation in Award Ceremony in Delhi by shortest route as per the following:

* Travel paid for top 3 winners. Only for Winners outside Delhi NCR

* Maximum Rs 10,000 for Air Fare on presenting the actual ticket

* Maximum Rs 5,000 for Train Fare on presenting the actual ticket
