About Give the Gift of Life – Mascot Design Contest

Angdaan Mahotsav campaign kick started on 1st July,2023 in line with the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to raise awareness on organ donation across the country. As part of the campaign, 3rd August 2023 will be celebrated as Indian Organ Donation Day to commemorate the first successful deceased donor organ transplant, which was also the first Heart transplant, after the promulgation of “The Transplantation of Human Organ Act” on 8th July 1994. The month of July 2023 is being celebrated as Organ Donation Month during which various awareness activities will be organised.

Taking the campaign a step further, the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in collaboration with the MyGov platform is organising Mascot Design Competition on organ donation.

Participants can submit their creations in PDF format.

The selected top entries will be awarded with Cash Prizes.

1. First Winner – ₹10,000/-
2. Second Winner – ₹5,000/-
3. Third Winner – ₹3,000/-
