About Global Kongu Foundation Competition for Kongu Youth

The Global Kongu Foundation announces a unique competition for Kongu Youth who completed their studies or studying in colleges:

This is an open competition for the Youth doing Under Graduation to Post Graduation in any Degree in any college or Kongu Youth between the age of 19 to 25 years having domicile in any place in Kongu belt. The Digital Presentation will be held in Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Karur, Namakkal, Salem, Dharamapuri and Krishnagiri alone.

TOPIC : “KONGU CULTURE IS SCIENCE BASED”

The competitors should prove the correctness of the topic from the reportings / findings from history and science resources.

First phase – the contents either in English or Tamil not exceeding 120 lines or 4 pages in A4 size paper, Font size – 12 with single line spacing, should be sent to Trust Office Address – given below on or before 2nd March 2020.

We will select a minimum of 5 candidates from each district for Digital Presentation.

Second Phase – Selected candidates should make Digital Presentation either as a Video or PPT for 30 minutes. Proposed Period: From March 15th – April 2020

Assessment will be made on the basis of Marks as given below:

Marks: Quality of Contents – 80 Marks

Digital Presentation: The way the contents are presented: 20 Marks

I) First Prize – Rs.1,00,000 with Award
II) Second Prize – Rs.75,000
III) Third Prize – Rs.50,000 and consolation prizes too.

Final Selection and Prize announcement: At Coimbatore in the month of May 2020.
