About Hackathon 59 Atmanirbhar Bharat
MIT Art Design and Technology University’s contribution towards making India Atmanirbhar by supporting vocal to local and make in India initiative. Our main goals are:
* To provide platform to young talent groups in application development for IT-based solutions in multiple categories.
* To identify potential secure applications that not only combat but work better than those banned by GoI.
* To Connect the young talents with Ministries and Industries for Entrepreneurial opportunities.
MIT Art, Design and Technology University, Pune has been established under the MIT Art, Design and Technology University Act, 2015 (Maharashtra Act No. XXXIX of 2015). The University commenced its operations successfully from 27th June 2016 and has been conferred with the ‘Best University Campus Award’ at 10th National Education Excellence Awards, 2017, by ASSOCHAM, India.
The University has a unique blend of Art, Design, and Technology as the core of its academics. MIT Art, Design and Technology University has been taking a holistic approach towards education wherein the students are being motivated to build a complete winning personality which is “physically fit, intellectually sharp, mentally alert and spiritually elevated”.

Registrations and Idea submissions ends: Team registrations and idea will be accepted till 7th August for shortlisting round. – 7 AUG
Hackathon starts and development begins – Hackathon Kickoff using online webinar. Get to work and Start building (9 Aug – 18 Aug). – 9 AUG
Presentation and Evaluation of project begins – Top teams are judged by the jury who will select the winners. – 19
AUG
Result day and hackathon ends – Winners of each category will be announced on our website and on the social media. – 21 AUG
