IDIA – Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access Pune Chapter conducting a Creative Writing Competition

GUIDELINES FOR THE CREATIVE WRITING COMPETITION

1. The entries submitted should be in pdf format only.

2. Submissions must be in English language and must be an original work of the participant, and any kind of plagiarism will be dealt with serious concerns and may also lead to disqualification of the submission.

3. Only one entry is allowed per person. Maximum number of co-authors allowed is two.

4. The word count per entry must be between 200-2000 words, please aim to keep within this limit.

5. Entries must be submitted by 28th February 2019, 11:59 PM via an e-mail to idialawpune(at)gmail.com . Submissions made after the deadline shall be disqualified from the competition.

6. IDIA reserves all the rights for any extensions. However, participants must note that, we are not inclined to give the same unless very compelling grounds are produced.

7. The authors are requested to submit their work in:

• Times New Roman Font
• Font Size : 12.
• Line Spacing : 1.5

8. Entries received on paper or via post will not be accepted. Entries to be submitted strictly via e-mail given under guideline no. 5.

9. Please make sure your contact details are entered correctly on the online form – to ensure further correspondences.

10. The subject of the mail should be “Submission – IDIA Creative Writing Competition” and the attachment should be titled with the registration number that you’ll receive after payment has been made.

11.The participants shall not use their names or provide any such identification in their submission as it would be held as a ground for disqualification.

12.IDIA reserves all the rights to make decisions on submissions. IDIA shall not be liable to refund any fee paid in case the submission is not made in time.

13. Every decision of the IDIA shall be final in regards to the competition and matters incidental thereto.
