WHO CAN APPLY

* The awards will be given only to the individual/ team who contribute to the innovation, and not to the organization.

* Only Indian nationals working in India can apply.

* NRDC employees, Prize Award Committee members and their families are not eligible.

HOW TO APPLY ONLINE

* Log-on to NRDC Website (http://www.nrdcindia.com/)

* Follow the instructions carefully for filling online application form.

* Register yourself to gain access to the forms (Registration is mandatory).

* Use User ID and Password to login.

* Application form is divided into 4 sections. Applicant can save the information after filling each section and fill the rest of the form later.

* To submit the online form, fill all the details in the given fields in all the sections and attach the relevant documents and then press the submit button (In Step 4).

* Before submission of the online application, kindly preview the complete application (Press Preview Button) to check whether all the 4 sections are properly filled.

* No modification can be made after final submission.

* Acknowledgement will be generated after final submission of the online application form. Keep it for your record.

* To download and print the PDF Format of the filled application form a link will be sent through email.

* Save the soft copy of your application in your computer in PDF Format for your reference and record. Take printout of the filled application form. Get the signature(s) of the Applicant(s) and Head of the Organisation. Put the rubber  stamp / seal of the Head of the Institution/ Organisation. Send this hardcopy of the filled and signed application form to NRDC Office Address (Manager, NRDC National Awards Programme, Prize Award Division, National Research Development Corporation, 20-22, Zamroodpur Community Centre, Kailash Colony Extension, New Delhi – 110048) through Any Courier/ Ordinary Post/ Speed Post/ Registered Post/ By Hand.

* It is mandatory to send one hardcopy of the filled application form to NRDC Office by Post/ by hand, after submission of the online application form, failing which the application for the NRDC National Awards will not be considered and liable to be rejected.

* Hard Copy of the printed application form signed by the Applicant(s) and NOCs along with the necessary documents mentioned in the check list (Click Here to Download the Check List) and the photographs in the prescribed format should reach at the NRDC office on or before 10th September, 2020, 5:30 pm.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

From the year 2014 the application of the NRDC MERITORIOUS INVENTION AWARDS has been made completely online i.e., the Applicant(s) has/ have to fill the particulars online and also upload the documents, certificates, photographs, line diagrams, test reports etc, in the online form on NRDC website (http://www.nrdcindia.com).

It is mandatory to send one hardcopy of the filled application form signed by the Applicant(s) along with all the necessary documents to NRDC office by Post/ by hand.

Please ensure that you are filling the actual and appropriate application form available online at NRDC website (http://www.nrdcindia.com).

Before applying for the NRDC NATIONAL MERITORIOUS INVENTION AWARDS 2020, please ensure that your eligibility is as per the criteria laid down under the three categories of NRDC National Awards, i.e., National Innovation Award of the Year 2020, National Societal Innovation Award of the Year 2020 and National Budding Innovators Award of the Year 2020.

An Award application for an Innovation can be applied only once for the NRDC National Meritorious Invention Awards in any of the three categories of Awards, i.e., either in National Innovation Award Category; National Societal Innovation Award Category or National Budding Innovators Award Category. The Innovation with same title, innovation, novelty features or any modifications in the innovation etc., if applied again it will not be considered and liable to be rejected. Therefore the applicants are advised to apply for the NRDC National Meritorious Invention Awards only when the innovation is completely developed and successfully translated in to practice with recognizable impact on the society.

If Patent is filed, Published or Granted for an innovation and if Condition I (Applicant(s) name (s) appeared on the Patent/Patent Application but not in the NRDC National Awards Application) or Condition II (Applicant(s) name (s) appeared on the NRDC National Awards Application but not in the Patent/ Patent Application) is applicable then, a NOC has to be submitted by the Applicant. If any applicant(s) is/ are found ineligible, his/ their application will be treated as cancelled.

There is no application fee for submitting online application for NRDC National Meritorious Invention Awards.

There is no option for applying for NRDC National Meritorious Invention Awards through offline mode. Only online applications can be submitted for NRDC National Meritorious Invention Awards through NRDC website (www.nrdcindia.com).

The applicant(s) is/ are advised to retain the same mobile number and e-mail-id in use which they have furnished in the application form because the important information shall be given to the applicant(s) through SMS or e-mail. The applicant(s) is/ are advised to have their personal mobile number & e-mail-id.
