NTPC Limited, India’s largest power utility, has presently total installed capacity of 52,946 MW. NTPC is currently producing approx. 60 Million Tonne of ash from its own operating coal based power stations. The Company being a socially & environmentally conscious utility always consider ash utilization as its thrust area of activities and in this line NTPC is searching innovative ideas for achieving 100% Ash Utilization on sustainable basis at all Coal based stations.

Objective

In order to achieve 100% ash utilization on sustainable basis at NTPC’s Coal based station, a Grand Contest to invite ideas for Ash Utilization is being organized at pan- India level. The objective of this competition is to find out innovative methods/ ideas which are commercially viable and practically implementable for achieving 100% Ash Utilization at NTPC in environmental friendly manner.

The competition is open to Individuls / Teams / NGOs / Professionls / Researchers / Scientists / Institutes / Organizations / Business Schools / Startups etc.,
