About OPEN Cycle and DT Swiss DESIGN COMPETITION “READY TO PAINT”

OPEN Cycle and DT Swiss, two companies active in the bicycle industry, are organising the “Ready to paint” design competition. The purpose of this competition is to pick up on the current trend towards the individualisation of everyday objects such as bicycles and bicycle frames and give selected products of the organising companies an individual design: More specifically, the winning design of the competition will be applied to a limited edition of OPEN bicycle frames, DT Swiss wheels, cycling jerseys as well as Artek chairs. As the host of the competition, Vitra will provide the appropriate premises in which the designs will be exhibited. In addition, a coffee table booklet will be created from the best designs. Prizes will be awarded for places 1-20; the winners of places 1-3 will be invited.

Participation in the competition is possible until 9 August 2020 and is free of charge. We are looking forward to your participation.
