Patenti Technology Solutions seeks to celebrate World IP Day 2024 with an Essay Writing Competition.

Hackathons and Open Innovation challenges have been engaging youth for accelerating innovation over the last decade. IP protections encourage innovators and creators to develop new ideas, which is crucial for tackling our biggest challenges. Let’s unlock the ingenuity and use IP as a tool to build a sustainable future for everyone, everywhere.

Building on the success of last year, the World IP Day Essay Competition from Patenti returns in 2024! This year’s theme delves into the power of youth innovation and how intellectual property (IP) can amplify their solutions for a sustainable future. This competition presents a unique opportunity to explore the critical role of IP in fostering creativity and translating ideas into action.

Topic for Essay: “Youth and IP: Accelerating innovation and creativity”

This topic seeks to encourage the participants to engage in out-of-box thinking and share how youth can participate to create Intellectual Property.

The winning essays will have an opportunity to be published and featured on “Blogs” section of the Patenti Technology Solutions website as well as their Linkedin/social media pages. The published essays will be credited to the writer in entirety.

Eligibilities

The essay to be submitted in English language.

Alternatively, participants can design posters.

The writer/ creator holds all the rights to submit the essay.

Your writeup must not have been previously published online besides your own personal blog, nor have been recognized and/or awarded in another competition.

The essay does not violate any copyright, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, industrial designs, distinctive signs, contractual obligations, or any other intellectual property rights, or other proprietary rights of any third party.
