Let’s celebrate Independence Day 2024 and show our patriotism more vibrantly, Get ready to capture a selfie/photo that embodies the essence of patriotism and freedom.

This initiative is designed to instil a profound sense of patriotism among participants from all walks of life. Participants are encouraged to share photos or selfies adorned in attire that embodies their deep respect for the nation. The attire should embody the spirit of India, featuring elements such as Khadi, handwoven textiles, or natural hues that resonate with the country’s vibrant cultural legacy. This competition underscores the celebration of India’s Independence Day by fostering pride in national identity through the artistry of fashion and creative expression.

The Ministry of Defence in collaboration with MyGov is organizing a Patriotic Dress Competition.

Participation Guidelines:

1. Participants are to upload his/her photos/selfies wearing patriotic dresses showcasing patriotism towards the nation.

2. The dress should show the spirit of India in any form viz. Khadi, hand-woven, natural colours etc.

Gratifications:

1st Prize – ₹ 25,000/-
2nd Prize – ₹ 15,000/-
3rd Prize – ₹ 10,000/-

The top 250 participants would be issued invitation cards by the Ministry of Defence to witness the Independence Day Celebration on 15th August 2024 at Red Fort, Delhi.
