About Short Videos Contest on CRPF Ministry of Home Affairs

 

As part of the CRPF@88: A Legacy of Service & Loyalty celebrations, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens across India to participate in the Short Videos Contest on CRPF.

 

The contest provides an opportunity for participants to creatively showcase their admiration, gratitude, and appreciation for the Central Reserve Police Force and its invaluable contribution to the nation. Through engaging short videos, participants can highlight the values of Service, Loyalty, Courage, Sacrifice, Unity, and Nation Building that have defined CRPF throughout its distinguished journey.

 

This initiative aims to foster greater awareness about the role and contributions of CRPF while encouraging citizens to express their perspectives, experiences, and tributes through creative storytelling. The contest seeks to celebrate the enduring bond between the people of India and the Force, while honouring the dedication and commitment of CRPF personnel in safeguarding the nation.

 

Participate in the contest and join the nation in celebrating 88 years of the glorious legacy of the Central Reserve Police Force.

 

Important Note: Artificial Intelligence (AI) Generated Content NOT Eligible

 

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to generate, create, or substantially produce contest submissions is strictly prohibited. All entries must be the participant’s original work and reflect their own creativity, effort, and expression.

 

Any submission found to be wholly or partially AI-generated, AI-assisted to a significant extent, manipulated using generative AI tools, or infringing upon originality requirements shall be deemed ineligible and may be disqualified at any stage of the competition. The decision of the organizers in this regard shall be final and binding.

 

 

Suggested Themes for Participants:

 

1. My CRPF, My Pride
Share why CRPF inspires you and what it means to you as an Indian. Express your admiration for the Force and its role in safeguarding the nation.

 

2. Thank You CRPF
A heartfelt message of gratitude to CRPF personnel and their families for their dedication, service, and sacrifices made in the line of duty.

 

3. CRPF: Beyond the Uniform
Showcase the humanitarian side of CRPF through disaster relief, civic action programmes, community engagement, rescue operations, and service to society.

 

4. CRPF: Mission Naxal-Mukt Bharat
Depict the vision of peace, development, education, and prosperity made possible through security, public participation, and the efforts of CRPF in Left Wing Extremism affected areas.

 

5. CRPF – Guardians of Democracy
Highlighting the role of CRPF in ensuring free, fair, and peaceful elections, thereby strengthening the democratic fabric of the nation.

First Prize – ₹30,000
Second Prize – ₹20,000
Third Prize – ₹15,000
Merit Awards (37 Winners) – ₹5,000 each

 

 

Participants may express their creativity through:

 

Participants may express their creativity through a wide range of formats, including live-action videos, animation, motion graphics, photo montages, poetry recitations, musical tributes, dance performances, storytelling, short documentaries based on publicly available information, and time-lapse art creation. Entries may also feature tributes by schools, colleges, local communities, or organizations. Participants are encouraged to choose a format that best conveys their message while celebrating the spirit, values, and contributions of the Central Reserve Police Force.

 

Important Guidelines: What Should NOT Be Included

To ensure security, privacy, and confidentiality, participants must NOT include:

 

 

a. Security & Operational Content
• Any information related to current or past deployments.
• Exact locations of camps, bases, or operational areas.
• Tactical procedures or operational strategies.
• Patrol routes or movement of personnel.
• Sensitive equipment or communication systems not available in the public domain.
• Security arrangements or infrastructure details.
• Any content that may compromise national security.

 

b. Identity & Privacy
• Personal details or identities of serving CRPF personnel without explicit authorization.
• Service numbers, identity cards, official documents, or confidential records.
• Images or videos revealing sensitive personal information.

 

c. Participation Restrictions
• Serving CRPF personnel shall not participate in or feature in the competition videos.
• Videos should not be recorded during official duties or inside restricted CRPF premises.
• Uniforms, insignia, or official resources should not be misused for dramatization or impersonation.

 

d. Restricted Content
• Re-enactments of live operations or encounters.
• Display or glorification of violence.
• Political messaging or partisan content.
• Communal or divisive narratives.
• Misinformation or unverified claims.
• Content violating copyright or intellectual property rights.
• AI-generated deepfakes or manipulated media that may misrepresent CRPF or its personnel.

 

 

Best Entry Criteria:

 

The best entries will be those that authentically reflect the emotional bond between the people of India and the Central Reserve Police Force while respecting the dignity, security, and ethos of the organisation.

 

 

Submission Guidelines:

1. Create a 1 or 2-minute video on CRPF.
2. Share the video on your social media platforms (X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) using hashtag #MyCRPFMyPride, #CRPF@88.
3. Tag @crpfindia (X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
4. Submit the video link on MyGov by pasting it in a Word/PDF document.

 

Language: English or Hindi (subtitles preferred).

Originality: Content must be original and unpublished.
