Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture, and achievements. This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have not only been instrumental in bringing India this far in its evolutionary journey but also hold within them the power and potential to enable Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of activating India 2.0, fuelled by the spirit of Aatmanirbhar Bharat. The official journey of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav commenced on 12th March 2021 which started a 75-week countdown to our 75th anniversary of independence and will end post a year on 15th August 2023.

The Ministry calls upon citizens to submit an innovative name for Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav souvenir.

Purpose of the Contest

To celebrate the 75th year of Independence, as a tribute and love for the country every household should have a piece symbolizing this milestone moment. To enable this idea, a unique name for the same can be suggested.

This initiative run by the Government of India for Indian nationals to contribute in thinking of a name for this movement of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav memorabilia/ souvenirs in every house. We are calling out talents to create a unique and catchy name for this milestone initiative that will reach millions of homes.

Personalized participation digital certificate from the Ministry of Culture be given to winners.

Top 10 entries will be given the cash prizes Rs 20,000 Each.
