M.A. Education

Education has many aspects such as curriculum design, pedagogy, policy, issues of equity and access, school management, education of teachers, design of learning materials, assessment and research, that deserve attention and serious study. M.A. Education is a broad-based Programme of study that includes theory, practice, research, policy and planning in education.

The Programme is designed as a 72-credit, 2-year full time postgraduate degree programme. Common core curriculum including introduction to research, that lays the foundation in the first year. Know more.

The M.A. Development programme aims to prepare individuals capable of informed and thoughtful development actions, aware of the complexity, depth and scope of development, its ethical imperative and its implications for policy and action.

The Programme is designed as a 72-credit, 2-year full time postgraduate degree programme. The electives cover a range of topics – Gender, technology, public health, Sustainability, Globalization, Policy and Programmes, Poverty, Water etc. Typically, 50-60 electives are on offer each year. M.A. Public Policy & Governance

The M.A. Public Policy & Governance programme exposes students to a grounded understanding of theoretical frameworks, practical challenges and institutional arrangements that are important to a holistic understanding of public policy. The programme also develops the ability to devise and use diverse research methods to evaluate public policies.

M.A. Economics

The M.A in Economics is a uniquely designed programme to develop the next generation of Economists with the theoretical knowledge, and technical skills to perform high quality analysis, while at the same time being grounded in the institutional, developmental and ecological context of contemporary India.

The M.A. Economics is designed as a 72-credit, postgraduate degree programme, which has 9 core courses, 4-7 electives, field practice, a Master’s thesis or Internship track, requiring full-time engagement for two academic years. Know more.

LL.M. in Law and Development

The one-year full time LL.M. in Law and Development will be a research and field intensive post- graduate programme in law. The programme includes mandatory courses on Law and Development, Law and Justice, Comparative Public Law and Legal Research Methods. Eligible Countries: Domestic Students can apply for this application .

Acceptable Course or Subjects: The sponsorship will be awarded in any subjects offered by the university.

Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, an applicant:

• Students with an annual family income of fewer than 4 lakhs get 100 % scholarships and thereon until 8 lakhs are eligible for different levels of scholarships.
• These opportunities are applicable to both Tuition and Accommodation.
