About Central Reserve Police Force Educational Assistance (Scholarships) 

All Zone offices and Admin Sectors may invite applications for Educational Assistance   for the year 2018-19 on the basis of marks obtained in academic session 2017-18 for all categories from their admin establishments and sanction the Educational Assistance accordingly. Educational Assistance will be paid to all ranks including Officers. Children of personnel who were killed in action and sustained 100% disability during action / duty and boarded out from service are also eligible for Educational Assistance. The same is irrespective of percentage. However, cut of percentage will be decided on receipt of all Sanction/Applications.

Educational Assistance cases of previous academic year will not be considered for sanction during current academic year and past cases will not be opened or reviewed. However, break in studies, if any, due to coaching etc, may be considered. Educational Assistance for college level has been increased from Rs.1500 to Rs.2500 (Arts & Commerce) and Rs.2000 to Rs.3000 (Science) and Children of all deceased force personnel (except martyrs) upto 10 class are also eligible for Educational Assistance at double of the existing rate from the academic year 2017-18. Bsc., (Agriculture) /M.Sc (Agriculture) have been included in Professional Degree course instead of College Level and Educational Assistance may be sanctioned at par with Professional Degree courses as per decision. Request submit sanction orders of merit scholarship to Welfare Department by target date i.e. 31/12/2018 in one lot to release the payment from education fund. Forward sanction order and details in soft and hard copy in duplicate. Remittance Particulars / Bank A/C of your office may be intimated for needful. Sanction Order received after target date (i.e. 31/12/2018) will not be entertained. No case of scholarship of any category will be entertained directly from field formation.
