National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur (earlier known as Regional Institute of Technology) was established on 15th August 1960 as a joint venture of Government of India and the Government of Bihar in the chain of Regional Engineering Colleges in India with the aim to generate technical graduates of highest standards who could provide technological leadership to the region. On 27th December 2002, RIT Jamshedpur was converted to NIT Jamshedpur as per the decision of Govt. of India. The Institute has 12 departments including engineering, science and humanities. The Institute, with 200 faculty, 4000 students, 150 administrative and supporting staffs, is a self-contained campus. It is located on the outskirts of Jamshedpur on 341.3 acres of sprawling, rolling hilly, wooded land.
This conference is inspired by the fusion of Mechanics and Materials Science fields from the Modelling viewpoints to yield new methodologies and simulation-based engineering. It has been challenged to overcome spatial and temporal scale limitations by tackling materials complexities, synergizing modeling and experiment, strengthening multidisciplinary approaches, broadening applications of MMM. These successive meetings have been concentrating the wisdom of materials and computational mechanics scientists, mathematicians and technologists. NCMMM-2020 brings in cutting-edge studies in all aspects of material theories, mathematics, modeling, simulation, and design, not only for developing fundamental MMM concepts, but also for tackling more complex and multi-physics problems of real-life scenario.

The length of original and unpublished research paper should not be less than 4 pages.
All submitted papers will be checked for Plagiarism and papers with less than 15% similarity will be considered for further review process.

Publication
After the peer review, all accepted papers will be considered for publication in AIP Conference Proceedings (h-index: 60).
