About

The SAT is a standardized test widely used for college admissions in the United States, it was debuted by the College Board in 1926. The SAT is wholly owned, developed, and published by the College Board, a private, not-for-profit organization in the United States.

The College Board states that the SAT is intended to measure literacy, numeracy and writing skills that are needed for academic success in college. They state that the SAT assesses how well the test-takers analyze and solve problems—skills they learned in school that they will need in college. However, the test is administered under a tight time limit (speeded) to help produce a range of scores.

Inside the Test

The biggest goals in changing the SAT was to make sure it’s highly relevant to your future success. The new test is more focused on the skills and knowledge at the heart of education. It consists of:

Reading Test
In the Reading Test, students will encounter questions like those asked in a lively, thoughtful, evidence-based discussion.
Writing and Language Test
The SAT Writing and Language Test asks you to be an editor and improve passages that were written especially for the test—and that include deliberate errors.
Math Test
The SAT Math Test covers a range of math practices, with an emphasis on problem solving, modeling, using tools strategically, and using algebraic structure.
SAT Essay
The SAT Essay is a lot like a typical college writing assignment in which you’re asked to analyze a text. It’s optional—but some schools will require it.

The registration fees is SAT International Fees: $49.50 (Rs. 3514 approx) + Additional Regional Fees: $49 (Rs. 3478 approx) = $98. 50 (Rs. 6992 approx)
