Walk-in-Interviews will be conducted on 20-12-2019 at O/o Director of Extension, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Administrative Office, Lam, Guntur – 522 034, A.P. from 11.00 A.M. for selection of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – 02 No’s for the ANGRAU – SERP partnership project “Collaborative Strategies of ANGRAU & SERP in enhancing the Livelihoods of Small and Marginal farmers & Nutria-Hygiene entrepreneurship promotion in Andhra Pradesh” to work at Headquarters of ANGRAU.

Desirous and eligible applicants may appear for Walk – in – interview on the date, time and venue specified above along with a type – written Bio-data in prescribed format given below. The candidates should present themselves for certificate verification at the same venue one hour prior to the scheduled interview time. The candidate should bring a latest Passport size Photograph and all original certificates starting from X th together with attested photocopies for this interview. No separate call letter for the interview shall be issued. The position is purely temporary on contractual bases for a period of 11 months or Co-terminus of the project, whichever is earlier. ANGRAU, Guntur will not be held responsible to provide regular appointment after expiry of the stipulated period of engagement. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The University’s decision is final and binding in all respects.

The qualifications required and other details prescribed for engagement are as below:

Name of the Position : Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Number of Positions : Two (02) positions at ANGRAU headquarters.(i.e. Guntur)

Education Qualifications

SRF One : M.Sc. (Ag.) in Agricultural Extension / Agricultural Economics / Agronomy discipline with basic B.Sc. (Ag.)
Degree of 4 years duration.

SRF Two : M.Sc.(Home Science) in Foods & Nutrition with basic  B.Sc. (Home Science) degree of 4 years duration.

Desirable Qualification : : Experience in working with impact studies, proficiency in browsing e- resources, data formats, data analysis, report writing, presentation etc.,

Remuneration : Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA as applicable (Consolidated) on contract basis

Duration of the Project : 11 months or co-terminus with project

Upper Age Limit : Male: 35 years / Female: 40 years (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC & PH as per rules vogue)

Assisting Director of Extension, Key Experts of the ANGRAU –SERP
project in data collection, receiving information from different centres, data consolidation, data analysis, tabulation, report writing, presentation, assessing the Impact of project, conducting training in implemented districts and the job demands travelling to different districts of Andhra Pradesh
