The IIMA Misra centre for Financial Market and Economy (MCFME) is hiring full time research Associates toundertake  study / research on financial market and Economy of India.The details about the Centre’s activities are available at: Refer  Research Associates are expected to work independently within the scope of their responsibility.

Required qualifications & Skill

• Applicants must have a Master / PhD (preferably) degree in Economics/Finance (from top-tier institutions) with outstanding grades.

• Applicants must be self-motivated with excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and can work in a team environment.

• Applicants must have demonstrated capabilities of working with statistical softwares and large data.

• Experience of working on issues of financial markets and macroeconomics is desirable.

Duration

The position will be initially offered for a period of six months and may be extended depending on performance at the discretion of the faculty supervisors. A Research Associate will be expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and may be required to travel within India.

Salary

Compensation will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
