Applications are invited from the interested candidates for one post of Junior Research Fellow to work on the R&C project titled “Algorithms for Fast Computation of Principal Components for Self Noise Cancellation in Underwater Acoustics” sanctioned by Naval Research Board (NRB), New Delhi. The staff will be appointed initially for one year (on contract) and his\her services can be extended for next year based on the performance review.

Eligibility:

1. B.Tech. in ECE/EIE/EEE/ETC with valid Gate Score / M.Tech. with valid Gate Score and specialization in Adaptive Signal Processing or more specifically in SONAR Signal Processing, with knowledge or expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

2. For General/OBC/EWS Candidates: First division (65% or 6.5 CGPA on 10.00 point scale) or equivalent at all levels starting from secondary education for essential qualifications.

3. For SC/ST/PH Candidates :

3.1 M.E./M.Tech with 55% marks or a CGPA of 5.5 on a 10.00 point scale.
3.2 B.E./B.Tech.in ECE/EIE/EEE/ETC with 55% marks or a CGPA of 5.5 on a 10.00 point scale

Application Process:

Candidates who fulfill the aforementioned eligibility criterion are requested to Skype-in for written or coding test to be held on 13th and 14th September, 2020. The last date for receiving the duly filled in application is September 10, 2020, including the letter of experience with your CV

Attention:

1. The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of information, other documents and photographs submitted.

2. The Institute reserves the right to accept the application at any time and consider candidates with exceptional credentials without applications. Qualification and experience may be relaxed by the Institute at any point of time for otherwise exceptional candidates.

3. Mere, possessing the prescribed qualification does not ensure that the candidate would be called for Interview. The Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit and need of theproject.

4. Candidates have to present themselves for the written/interview on the 13th and 14th September, 2020 on Skype

5. Applicants in employment (private, government or any other organization) are required to submit a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer at the time of interview.

6. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

7. On failing to satisfy the required eligibility criterion, the Institute reserves the right to reject the candidature of those candidates.
