Hridyantra is an initiative led by the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, in partnership with India’s leading hospitals, to develop world’s most advanced artificial heart.

With this program, we aim to turn into reality the dream of making advanced therapeutic options, such as the Left Ventricular Assist Device, accessible to millions of patients with end-stage heart failure.

Hridyantra is conceived as a grand challenge inviting applications from brilliant problem-solvers and entrepreneurial minds who will work very closely with a special program task force. The fellows will work with the task force members, in a mission mode, to design and develop a fully functional Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD).

The last date for application submission is extended till 14th February 2022
