About Jadavpur University Research Fellowship

The University invites applications only from those candidates who are already enrolled /registered in the Ph.D Programme of the relevant department in the prescribed form (Priced Rs.50/-) to be available from the Information Office from 05.12.2019 (except Sunday, Saturday and holidays) during Office hours 11 A.M. to 2.00 P.M. and 2.30 P.M. to 4.00 P.M. for 10 numbers of Research Fellowship (Arts Faculty) under State Fellowship Research Scheme.

Qualification

The eligibility criteria for the selection of Junior Research Fellow /Senior Research Fellow shall be with a degree in the appropriate area of study:-

a) M.A with NET/SET qualified

b) M.A with 55% marks [5% relaxation on 55% marks only for seats under SC category] aggregate where the scope of NET/SET restricted or does not currently exist. In this case, a selection test may be conducted for consideration.

Value : Rs. 18,000/- per month (fixed) for Junior Research Fellow.

Age : Up to 28 years for Arts subject.

Reservation : As per UGC rules

Duration : 2(two) years (extendable on satisfactory performance)

Last date of receiving application is 30.12.2019. No T.A./D.A. is admissible to the candidates, who may be called for interview.
