About Jawaharlal Nehru University School of Life Science Junior Research Fellow – JRF

Project : “Elucidating the role of NbUBC2 and NbHUB1 of the histone mono-ubiquitination machinery in geminivirus pathogenesis”.

Duration: The Project will continue till March 2022. The above mentioned position is completely temporary and is co-terminus with the project. Appointed person will be expected to stay in the lab for the entire period of the project.

Salary : – Rs. 31000/- plus HRA (as per DST rules and guidelines for JRF).

Qualifications : – Eligible candidates should have a Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Genetics / Plant Molecular Biology / and CSIR / UGC/ICAR JRF or NET qualified.

Candidates having research experience in the area of Epigenetics / DNA-protein interactions / Host-virus interaction/ any other areas of Plant Virology will be preferred.

The competent authority may select candidate in the lower position against the above posts depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate and reserves the right to relax any of the qualification(s) in case the candidate is found otherwise well qualified by the Selection Committee.
