Four years of experience post qualification (i.e. after
Post Graduation). Relaxable in deserving cases

Research Fellow – Second

Candidate should possess at least 2nd Class Post
Graduate Degree in Demography/Population
Studies/Statistics/Economics/Mathematics/Sociology
from a recognized Institution/University
Experience:-
One year of experience post qualification (i.e. after
Post Graduation). Relaxable in deserving cases

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE POSTS OF RESEARCH FELLOW (FIRST AND SECOND)

1. The hiring of Research Fellow is to be made purely on a contractual basis and the contract is to be renewed every year based on the performance of the Research Fellow for a maximum period of three years.

2. Population Research Centre has no liability either for regularizing the service rendered or offer regular appointment in the Population Research Centre.

3. The engagement of contractual Research Fellow(s) on contract basis will be for a period of one year. If the performance of the contractual Research Fellow(s) is found to be satisfactory and there is a need to keep the post filled up after the said period of one year of engagement, the same contractual Research Fellow(s) may be continued on fresh contract for further period of one year, subject to the total period of engagement not exceeding three years.

5. Application fee : Rs. 1000/- for candidate belongs to General Category. and Rs. 500 /- for candidate belongs to ST/SC/OBC/PH Categories.
