Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad against DRDO funded project entitled “Deciphering the role of efflux pumps in imparting antimicrobial resistance in staphylococcus aureus and their inhibitors in potentiating the existing therapy”, PI: Dr. Vasundhra bhandari, Co-PI: Dr Paresh Sharma.

Fellowship amount: Rs.31000/-PM+24% HRA (if applicable) as per the DST guidelines.

One position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF):

Eligibility: Post Graduate Degree in life sciences OR Graduate/Post Graduate degree in professional course having NET/GATE or selected through national level examination conducted by DBT/DST/MHRD/ICMR/IIT/IISC/IISER(Eligibility criteria as per DST OM SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019). However, Non NET candidates can also apply who will be paid as per their eligibility.

Experience: Candidate with experience in Molecular biology, Cell culture, Microbiology and Immunological techniques is desirable. Candidates having prior experience in working with bacterial handling and culture will be preferred.

Age: 32 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)
