About National Institute of Technology Warangal Junior Research Fellowship

Applications are invited from interested candidates for one temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the ongoing research project sponsored by Department of Science and Technology – Science and Engineering Research Board (DST-SERB), Govt. of India.

Details of qualifications, Emoluments and duration are given below:

Project Title : Development of High PF Grid connected Induction Cooker with Direct ACAC Conversion for Vessels of Different Material

Name of Position : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility

First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale in B. Tech./B.E. in Electrical Engineering.

and

First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale in M.Tech in Power Electronics and Drives. The candidate must have M.Tech through GATE (or) a valid GATE score.

Exposure to fabrication & testing of power electronics circuits is desirable.

Duration : 3 Years

Consolidated Salary

Rs.31,000/- pm for first two years and 35,000/- pm for third year. HRA as per institute rules.

The selected candidate is also eligible for on campus Hostel & Mess facilities at their own expenses.

Other Benefits

The selected candidate is eligible to register for Ph.D degree at NIT, Warangal as per institute rules.

Selection Procedure:

The candidates will be selected through written test and/or interview. List of eligible candidates and date of written test / interview will be announced through the institute website. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

NOTE:

Candidates who are already employed should produce “No objection Certificate” (NOC) from the employer and students should provide provisional degree certificate or its equivalent at the time of interview. The selected candidate is expected to produce a Relieving Certificate from their employer or provisional degree certificate in case of students and join the duties within a week after intimation of their selection else it would be offered to a candidate in the waiting list.
