Applications are invited for the position of a Junior Research Fellow/Project Fellow to work in the IUAC (An Autonomous Centre of UGC), New Delhi, research project entitled “Luminescence studies of swift heavy ion irradiated rare earth doped MgO based nanophosphors”, under the supervision of Dr. Anup Thakur (Principal Investigator), Department of Basic and Applied Sciences, Punjabi University, Patiala and Dr. Ankush Vij (Co- Pl), Department of Physics, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Tenure: Approximately six months or till the end of project.

Fellowship JRF/ Project Fellow: i) NET/GATE qualified- Rs. 25,000/- p.m. (fixed).

ii) Non-GATE/Non-NET- Rs. 14,000/- p.m. (fixed).

Qualification : M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics/Nano-Scicnce with at least 55% marks for general category (50% in case of SC/ST/PH) with consistently good academic records. For JRF either a valid GATE score or NET is required.
