About the Program

GITAM has established a state-of-the-art multi-specialty hospital to provide quality health care facilities to the people at affordable cost.

The hospital is designed for a patient friendly ambience to accommodate 850 beds with 20 operation theaters and over 100 ICU beds. The Hospital is within the reach of both the urban and rural population and known for its patient care. It is well connected with public transport facility.

Presently, the following specialties like Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Dermatology, ENT, Radiology, Anesthesia, Psychiatry, Pulmonology, Physiotherapy are offered. The out-patient departments are run by qualified specialists. The emergency medicine and trauma departments are working round the clock. It is adequately equipped to deal with all emergencies. The Intensive care unit is well equipped with monitors, ventilators and other supportive systems.

The well established central clinical laboratories of Pathology, Microbiology and Biochemistry are available. 24 X 7 Blood bank services are available to support emergency conditions.

Fee Structure

The admitted candidate is required to pay the following fee every year for a duration of 5 years.

Management Seats Rs. 18,87,000/- per year

NRI Seats USD 80,870 per year

Hostel Charges Rs. 14,000/- per month (Approx.)

Amount to be deducted on re-allocation of seat to the candidates in 2nd / 3rd round of counseling Rs. 20,000/-

Amount of fees to be reimbursed in case candidate resigns during counseling period Rs. 16,98,300/–

Mode of Payment

The tuition fee of Rs. 18,87,000/- (Rupees eighteen lakhs eighty seven thousand only) for admission into 1st year MBBS program has to be paid by the candidate through any one of the following modes:

i) Payment by Demand Draft: DD drawn in favor of “GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (College Receipts)”, payable at Visakhapatnam.

ii)Payment by RTGS / NEFT transfer:
