IIT Jammu International Conference on Information Systems Security

About the Conferences

ICISS is an annual international conference on systems security. It is always held within India and it provides a forum for researchers and industry practitioners of security to present their new findings and experiences in any aspect of systems security. The 16th ICISS (ICISS-2020) will be held between December 16-20, 2020 at Indian Institute of Technology Jammu.

ICISS is soliciting previously unpublished technical papers in the field of Security & Privacy. Papers that involve innovative solutions, usability studies, longitudinal studies, socio-economic aspects, SoK, are also welcome. A broad, non-exhaustive list of topics of interest is given in the call for papers.

The full-paper submissions must be written in English and it should not exceed 20-pages in LNCS format (including bibliography and appendices). The LaTeX template and the URL for submitting your paper is provided under submissions page. The conference proceedings will appear in Springer’s LNCS series.

Extended versions of a select few accepted papers will be invited for publication in the Indian Academy of Sciences’ Journal – SADHANA. ICISS-2020 will have a best paper award!

Submission Guidelines

  1. Submissions must be written in English.
  2. Only the PDF type of file format is acceptable as a submission.
  3. Authors must follow the LNCS conference proceedings guidelines (Latex | Word).
  4. The manuscript must not exceed 20-pages, including bibliography and appendices if any.
    Committee members are not required to read the appendices, so the paper should be intelligible without them.
  5. Plagiarism is unacceptable. Self-plagiarism is unacceptable. Multiple submission is unacceptable.
    Submissions will be rejected if found unacceptable.
  6. A paper submitted to ICISS-2020 cannot be under review for any other conference or journal during the time it is being considered for ICISS-2020. Furthermore, after you submit to ICISS-2020, you must await our response before submitting elsewhere. If you submit your paper to another conference or journal either before/after submission of the paper to ICISS-2020, we will reject your paper without review and will notify the other conference/journal as well. This restriction applies to identical as well as to substantially similar papers.
  7. Submissions can be uploaded to EasyChair website on or before July 20, 2020 (Anywhere on Earth).
  8. The final version of the accepted papers must be in the format required for publications in the LNCS series.
    Submissions not meeting these guidelines risk rejection without consideration of their merits.
  9. Authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their papers will be presented at the conference.
