Indian Maritime University IMU’s Online Counselling Admissions 2019 – 20

About the Program

The Indian Maritime University (IMU) was established on 14th November 2008 as a teaching-cum-affiliating university under the aegis of the Ministry of Shipping,Government of India, with Chennai as headquarters. It was set up to promote maritime studies, training, research and extension with focus on emerging areas like
oceanography, maritime history, maritime laws, maritime security, search and rescue, transportation of dangerous cargo, environmental studies and other related fields, and to achieve excellence in these areas.

Eligibility

10+2 or equivalent (PCM-60% average and minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th or 12th Examination.)
Note: In case of SC/ST candidates there will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks; however, it will not apply to English marks.

1. Opening of Registration for Online Counselling 10.06.2019

2. Last date for Registering for Online Counselling 20.06.2019

3. Publication of First List of Selected Candidates 25.06.2019

4. Deadline for Online Payment of Programme Fee for candidates selected in First List b

5. Publication Of Second List Of Selected Candidates 02.07.2019

6. Deadline for Online Payment of Programme Fee forcandidates selected in Second List 06.07.2019

7. Publication of Third List of selected candidates (if necessary). 09.07.2019

8. Deadline for Online Payment of Programme Fee for candidates selected in Third List. 12.07.2019

9. Certificate Verification at the Campus allotted 26.07.2019 to 30.07.2019

10. Date of Commencement of classes 01.08.2019

* Candidates will be required to pay Rs.10,000/- (Non-refundable to those candidates who have been allocated a seat in any one of the lists) for registering for the Online Counselling of IMU

** Candidates selected in the First/ Second/ Third (if any) List published by IMU will be required to pay an amount of Rs.25,000/- (Non- Refundable) towards Programme Fee as per the deadline given in the table above.
