Gateway to the world of Neuromodulation – INS-IM 2020
India has been a leader in the field of Neuromodulation in Asia. The first DBS surgery was performed as early as 1998 and we now perform more than 550+ neuromodulation procedures in India (these are more than Australia) per year. The therapy has been growing, but is still underpenetrated, especially the field of neuromodulation in Pain. This meeting plans to address the need for neuromodulation in Pain by conducting several workshops, training programs and lectures.

The interim meeting is aimed to bring all the neuromodulators of Asia together to interact with the galaxy of speakers and delegates from Europe and USA. The Chinese, Korean and Japanese societies will be actively represented by their delegates and Presidents. We anticipate more than 600 delegates, including 150 faculties from Asia, Europe and USA.

The Neuromodulation society of India, is a unique blend of clinicians, in fairly even representation, from a variety of disciplines such as Neurosurgeons, Pain Physicians, Psychiatrists and Neurologists as its members. This meeting will not only focus on neuromodulation in Pain and Neurosurgery, but will involve neuromodulators from other specialty e.g. Neurology and Psychiatry, which are equally important in the success of the outcome of any given neuromodulation program.

There would be something for everyone in the scientific program and it can be tailored to each individual specialty, thereby increasing their involvement and participation.

We look forwards to welcome you to the exciting city of Mumbai, about which you have heard a lot, but may have a chance to experience personally.

Call for Abstracts

The Scientific Committee invites abstract submissions for INS-IM 2020 to be held from 23rd-25th of October, 2020 at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, India.

The Scientific Committee will consider for acceptance abstracts that have not been previously presented at other national and international scientific meetings.

Submitting an abstract does not register you for INS-IM 2020; you must register for the conference.

Note: Authors from outside India – Register for the conference at the earliest and apply for a visa. You will need a visa to come to India for the conference.

The format of presentation (oral presentation/ePoster) will be decided by the scrutinizing committee from amongst the abstracts received and authors will be informed accordingly.

All abstracts must be submitted in English.

Step 1: Prepare all the information about your abstract Your abstract must contain:

A category
A title
A list of authors with affiliation of first/presenting author
The main text of the abstract, in English
Step 2: Select a category and a type of communication Please select one of the following categories for your abstract:

Neurosurgery
Pain
Psychiatry
Neurology
Others
You may also choose the kind of communication you want to be considered for: ePoster presentation OR either oral or ePoster presentations.

Step 3: TitleThe title must be in lowercase with a capital at the beginning.

Do not use small capitals or capitals in the title.

Do not use asterisks or notes.

Your title must be on a single line.

Step 4: AuthorsYou must create the list of your authors before submitting your abstracts, and select the first/presenting author.

Step 5: Text The text (Body) of the `Abstract’ should contain no more than 250 words. It should be structured as far as possible in the following manner (Except Case Reports):

Introduction
Aims & Objectives
Material & Methods (including statistical methods where relevant)
Results
Conclusion

Please do not enter any special characters, tables or photos in the abstract body.

Acknowledgment of the receipt of abstract will be sent to your email address along with a tracking number.
