ADMISSION TO Ph.D. PROGRAM : WALK IN INTERVIEW ON JUNE 27,2012(WEDNESDAY)

Director, Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH), invites’ exceptionally motivated candidates to appear for a Walk-in Interview on Wednesday, June 27,2012, (Reporting time 9.00 a.m. to 12 noon) for pursuing Doctoral Research at IMTECH under the aegis of the Ph.D. Degree Program being jointly run by IMTECH and the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.

The candidates who have passed M. Sc and cleared any of the following examination are eligible to attend the interview :-

a) CSIR-UGC NET (NET-LS not eligible)

b) DBT- JRFexamination (“A’ Category only)

c) DST INSPIRE Fellowship

d) ICMR – JRF examination (those selected for working only in ICMR Projects are not eligible).

IMTECH is a multidisciplinary institute with excellent research facilities and faculty with interests in many different areas of modern Biology and Biotechnology (please visit our website: http://www.imtech.res.in for information on different areas and Faculty activities).

Those coming for Interview must be prepared to stay in Chandigarh for three days, which is the approximate time required to finalize the admission of successful candidates. Immediately after selection / admission, selected candidates will be assigned Labs and required to pay Rs. 3000/- in cash towards Registration.
