The Institute of Social Sciences, Regional Centre Puducherry announces its Internship Programme-2019 for those who are pursuing Post Graduation in any discipline in Social Sciences from any University/Institution/College in India. The internship programme aims at introducing them to social science research. The programme is designed specifically for those who have research aptitude and aspire to pursue advanced research courses.

Period of Internship: From 16 May 2019 To 16 July 2019.

Progamme Outline: 01st Week: Research Orientation (2-3 hours a day); 02nd to 07th Week: Research Work;  08th’ Week: Report Submission and Presentation.

Registration Fee: A one-time non-refundable nominal tuition fee of Rs.3000/- (Indian Rupees Three Thousand Only) per student will be charged. The students from socially and economically deprived background are eligible for fee concession on production of proof.

Application: The interested candidates must send their filled in application along with their resume and a brief write up (not more than 300 words) explaining their interest in any topic of their choice to rcpy(at)issin.org (addressed to the Regional Director, Institute of Social Sciences, Regional Centre Puducherry) on or before 15 April 2019. The short listed candidates will be informed on 25 April 2019 by email with registration form, details of mode of payment of fee, etc. The selected candidates must email their filled in registration form with the details of fee paid on or before 30 April 2019. The orientation will begin at 10.30 AM on 16 May 2019 at the Regional Centre Puducherry.
