How to Participate

Please submit your entry to the question below:

Describe the current online education system. Share your concerns, ideas and creative solutions with us.

Registration Process:

* Register & create a login id
* Fill in your details in the online Registration form
* Submit the entry by selecting any one of the mentioned formats: Essay, audio, video or a PowerPoint presentation.
* Shortlisted students will proceed to the next round & will get an opportunity to interact with the HT edit team.
* Please note: Only students from standard 5th to 12th are eligible to participate

Shortlisting Process:

Students will be shortlisted for interviews based on their originality of thought, constructive recommendation, creativity, and plausibility entry. The students will also be reviewed on academics by a team led by a jury & HT Editors

Round 1 – Total shortlisted entries from registration | 200 students
Round 2 – Final Selection | 100 students. The final selection will be done after one-on-one interviews with HT editors to test students’ skills & aptitude

Min 12 students from each standard will be selected as winners.
Unbiased selection process.
Peer to peer competition.

Interview Process:

A panel of senior editors will interview the shortlisted students and select the final 100 winners across the country

1. Who can participate in Lenovo SmarterEd Scholarship Programme?
– Any student from 5th to 12th standard from across the country is eligible to participate in Lenovo SmarterEd Scholarship Programme. Students will be competing with peers from the same class

2. Is there any registration fee?
-No. This programme is free for all the participants

3. How can I register?
–lenovoscholarship.com ,Visit www.lenovoscholarship.com and sign up. Fill the enrollment form & submit your entry. Please ensure all details filled are correct.

4. What is the last date of registration?
The last date of registration is 28th April.

5. What is the preferred format for entry?
Students can choose between an essay, an audio-video, audio, or even PowerPoint presentation.

Essay: up to 300 words
Audio file: Max duration – 2min
Audio-Video file: Max. duration – 2min
PowerPoint presentation: Max. 4 slides

6. Can I submit multiple entries?
No. One participant can only submit one entry.

7. How many students will be shortlisted?
200 students will be shortlisted all over India.

8. What will happen after the students are shortlisted?
A panel of senior editors will interview the shortlisted students and select the final 100 winners.

9. How will the winners be announced?
The winners will be announced on all key platforms – hindustantimes.com, HT newspaper, www.lenovoscholarship.com.

10. What is the prize for the winners?
100 winners will get Laptops and Tablets worth a total of Rs. 25 Lacs.
