The Indian Institute of Technology, Jammu invites application for admission in M.Tech program for the session 2020-21 in various departments.

Admission to M.Tech Programme

The following programmes are offered by IIT Jammu for M.Tech admissions.

Qualifications

• For M.Tech In Tunnel Engineering: B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate or a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a 10 point scale with a valid GATE Scorecard.
• For M.Tech in Data Science: Candidates should have qualified their qualifying degree (B.Tech/B.E./M.Sc.) in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, and Statistics. These candidates must have a valid GATE Score and secured a minimum of 300 marks in the Valid GATE scorecard.
• For M.Tech In Information Security: Candidates should have qualified their qualifying degree (B.Tech/B.E./M.Sc.) in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, and Statistics. These candidates must have a valid GATE Score and secured a minimum of 300 marks in the Valid GATE scorecard.
• For M.Tech In Communications and Signal Processing: BE/B.Tech in ECE/EIE/EEE/ETC/EE with First class throughout in education qualification (5% relaxation in 10th or 12th) with a valid GATE Scorecard.
• For M.Tech In Thermal & Energy Systems: B.E/B.Tech/AMIE in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering, with a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate or a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a 10 point scale with a valid GATE Scorecard.

How to Apply?

1. Application Fee per department (non-refundable): Rs.300/- for General/Gen-EWS/OBC category and Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD category candidate.
2. The candidates can deposit the requisite application fee by using net banking or debit/credit card facilities.
3. The admission to an M.Tech. the programme will be provisional unless final year mark sheet or transcript, Qualifying degree certificates and other necessary documents are submitted.
