About the PH.D. ADMISSIONS

IIIT Naya Raipur invites applications for admission to the Ph.D. Programs in all disciplines of Engineering, Science, English, and Management. The goal of the Ph.D. program at IIIT-NR is to prepare the scholars for becoming global academic, industrial and R&D leaders.

Some key features of Ph.D. program in IIIT-NR are listed below.

IIIT-NR is mentored by a highly eminent board consisting of Mr. Ajai Chowdhry (Founder-HCL), Prof. Arogyaswami Paulraj (Marconi Award winner & Professor Emeritus-Stanford University) and other visionaries from Academia and Industry.
IIIT-NR is committed to bringing to the Institute the best of the faculty and resources to enable students create solutions for today’s problems and products for the needs of the country, esp. the underprivileged.
Scholars admitted to Ph.D. program under regular Institute Scholar scheme (full time) are eligible for the Institute Teaching/Research Assistantship of Rs 31000/- per month, as per MHRD guidelines.
Students are encouraged to present research papers at reputed conferences and for which the institute supports financially as per the norms of IIIT Naya Raipur.

Opening of Online Link for applications: 3rd March , 2020
Closure of online applications: 30th April , 2020
Display of list of shortlisted candidates: 15th May, 2020
Written test and Interviews: 15th June, 2020
Announcement of results: 22nd June, 2020
Reporting at IIITNR: by 15th July, 2020

Application Process:

Please read the instructions given below before filling up the application form.
All applications will be received through online portal of IIIT Naya Raipur only. An applicant has to register online by filling the required details. The login credentials will be provided to the applicant on an email used for registration.
The applicant has to login with details received and complete the application by providing all the necessary information. Please note that the applicant has to upload the testimonials wherever it is required to validate the information along with photograph and signature.
After completion of filling the application, the applicant will be directed to the payment gateway. Once the payment is done successfully, the applicant will be asked to confirm the final submission of the application.
After the final submission, an acknowledgement of payment along with the copy of the application will be provided for future reference.
The applicant has to carry the print out of this application along with all the attachments and their originals during the written test/interview.
The applicant has to register separately (the same email id can be used) to apply for multiple disciplines and payment also to be made separately.
