About Project Aarohan Scholarships 2026-2027

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), in collaboration with Vertis Infrastructure Trust, has introduced ‘Project Aarohan’, a scholarship initiative designed to support the children of toll plaza employees.

The programme will be executed by SMEC Trust’s Bharat Cares and will operate from July 2025 to March 2026. In its first phase, the project has been allocated ₹1 crore, aiming to benefit 500 students from Class 11 to final-year graduation. Each selected student will receive an annual scholarship of ₹12,000 during the FY 2025–26, helping them continue their education without financial barriers.
