S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences Conference on Quantum Condensed Matter

WELCOME TO Q-MAT :2020

Q-MAT is a flagship conference on quantum matter, to be held at S. N Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Kolkata from 7th – 11th September, 2020. We aim to bring large fractions of Quantum condensed matter community together following the spirit of a community meeting. The 3rd annual Q-MAT conference will be organized by Department of Condensed Matter Physics and Material Sciences , SNBNCBS, Kolkata.

In the spirit of a community meeting, Q-MAT will seek participation of a large fraction of active researchers in this area. We plan to have both invited and contributed talks in two parallel sessions spread over three days. We will try to accommodate as many speakers as possible, with special sessions for junior faculty members, postdocs and final year graduate students. There will also be poster sessions for community members and junior students. In addition, we will have corporate sessions for talks given by equipment manufacturers and suppliers. Our goal is to be as inclusive as possible within our logistical limits.
